MAL & JENNY'S WEDDING 10 Jan. 1976
ADELAIDE DOOMSDAY PREDICTION 19 Jan.1976
John Nash was known by some at the Jesus Centre based in Melbourne Street, North Adelaide. He claimed to be a Christian.
John Nash says he had a vision that Adelaide would be wiped out with a tidal wave on Monday 19th January 1976 as part of God's judgement on the city because of its declining morals and anti-God legislation being passed in parliament under the premiership of Don Dunstan.
The media picked up on a small ad that Nash had placed in a printed publication 3 months earlier. The story grew and some Adelaide residents, especially Greeks and Italians, started selling up their properties to escape the coming deluge.
John Nash left for Melbourne a couple weeks before the prediction failed to eventuate. He was a 'wanted man' by some.

NEW CREATION TEACHING MINISTRY April 1976
The Rev. Geoffrey Bingham became a close friend to some in the Jesus Centre and helped to direct our development as a Christian community. The elders met on occasions with Geoff and Laurel to learn from the wisdom that they had accumulated from life experiences. Geoff helped us bridge the gap between the established local churches and our 'para-church' expression of New Testament church.
